When I'm writing these rows you have to realize that the schnauzer is my best body since almost 35 years. I've started this at the year of 1974 and this is still going on at me. The first schnauzers were giants at my cennel: in any case I was very ambitious on quality at the start but at that time we just have worked together.
I was lost in admiration as far as their behaviour, wisdom and their loyality to their "Lord" concern.
Four years just gone when I've got my first standard schnauzer and my loyality for this breed will be deeper nad deeper...
When I've got the first standard male named "Szunyogi Aba Ali", I've recognized a great dog-personality with him: 20 kgs pure muscles.
At that time was realy a poor number of schnauzers in Hungary, therefore Ali could get married first time when he was 7 years of age.
The wedding partner of Ali was a nice dog-lady named "Szunyogi Ketty Melka" she was my first female: also Ali and Melka were the founders of my schnauzer kennel Ezüst Gránit in Hungary.
At that early time I was a maniac worker already therefore they're visited the dog training school in every day and they've liked it very much to learn different things.
The breeding results were not a world record at that time, while we've got one litter in 2 years time period.
But I have to say that all these puppies were excellent, while most of them have received "Champion" rating which was a great success for the "Lord" and breeder.
I was really happy with my dogs but I've got a special feeling: something is missing from my kennel: the miniature one.
The miniature is such kind of type, who could be a good friend of standard and giant schnauzers and I can take with me to such places where I cannot take the standard and giant to.
I was thinking more than few years but as a result I've started with miniature one too. Why not?
The miniature schnauzer was a really nice suprise for me: the first 2 miniature males "Szotyika" and "Esco" have given the real evidences that they are such a dog-personality at least like the giants... The rivalry between the 2 miniature males was stronger and deeper time to time...I really liked them!
Today I haven't got any giant more, but I've got the best event in my life: my son whe he was pretty young he performed his first few steps with the really support of a standard schnauzer and he is still working with me in the kennel as a self made breeder with the same loyality for the schnauzer breed like me.
The very sad point is that a lot of favorite schnauzers from my kennel couldn't be with me anymore... my favorite dogs named "Öcsi, Borsika, Ali, Assan, Tüske... " would be a really brand name for old schnauzer fans. These schnauzers have teached me to be a good breeder and Lord for long time without any compromises...
My todays occupation is to deal with my schnauzers round the clock, working in my dog-care business, drawing, painting, some training, trawelling and wisiting dog shows...
